	Kubota RT Plus Kubota has released the RT Plus horizontal-shaft range to supplement its long serving workhorse RK range. The 7.5kW (10hp), 9.3kW (12.5hp) and 10.4kW (14hp) engines (all manual & electric start) are designed for use in applications such as pumps and generators. Their advanced engineering provides increased durability and fuel efficiency. All RT Plus engines share the same direct injection system. Fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber. The subsequent combustion process is then transformed directly to the force driving the piston head delivering enhanced horse power and improved fuel efficiency. New multi injection ports increase the number of nozzle sprayers from 4 to 5, whilst downsizing injector puncture to cooperate with the high efficiency injection pump. Hence, pressure of up to 220kg/cm can be achieved. Fuel is broken down into small particles and widespread to cover every combustion spot. This results in complete combustion and reduces air pollution. In addition, the nozzles incorporate an internal edge filter to minimize nozzle clogging as a result of dirt accumulation. RT Plus pistons employ a unique deep troidal bowl design, to allow the intake air to swirl in the bowl more quickly and smoothly. The design also permits a precise ratio of intake air and fuel mixture. The resultant complete combustion process enhances the engine output, delivering increased levels of torque when operating at low RPM. 	Tanaka JEA50 Auger - With Dig-Assist Traditional one-man post-hole diggers can be hard on the user. Parklands Power Products has released the new Tanaka JEA-50 one-man auger which can be used with Australian-made “Dig-Assist”. JEA-50 is powered by a 51cc engine generating 1.9kW (2.6hp). Weighing only 13kg (without auger bit) the JEA-50 has a low engagement centrifugal clutch to operate at a low rpm and a 33:1 reduction gearbox for optimum power and speed. JEA-50 will take bits up to 25cm in diameter. With a large rectangular handle, which also protects the machine when in storage, the unit is easy to use Australian-made “Dig-Assist” acts both as a stabiliser (whilst drilling) and transport trolley. Made from heavy gauge tubular steel, the unit can easily be disassembled for stowing away in small spaces, like a car boot, and swivels for use on uneven ground. It easily attaches to the JEA-50 in just seconds, with one pin and a clip. 	New Stihl BG86C Blower Stihl has released the BG86C, powered by a 27.2cc Stihl 2-Mix engine with stratified scavenging that meets the demadning EU Stage II emission levels. This also reduces fuel consumption by about 20%. The low weight and low vibration level of the new petrol powered blowers and vacuum shredders make for effortless working, even in extended use. Because of the antivibration system.they fall below the relevant limit of 2.5m/s2 demanded by the EU Workplace Vibration Directive. The blower generates 810m3/h at an air speed of 85m/s (306km/h). A kit allows the blower to be quickly converted into a related Vacuum-shredder unit. The SH86 weighs 5.7kg with a nozzle suction rate of 770m3/h. The SH86 blower wheel is so efficient that dry leaves are reduced to 1/14th of their original volume and are ready for immediate composting. 	Stihl MS 211 Mini-Boss Stihl’s new “Mini Boss“ incorporates a 1.7kW 35cc 2 Mix engine with featuring stratified scavenging. Stratified scavenging creates a fuel-free cushion of air between the fresh fuel in the crankcase and the exhaust gas in the combustion chamber. This ensures that an unburned mixture of air and fuel cannot escape into the atmosphere together with the exhaust emissions. Resulting emissions are substantially reduced and remain below even stringent EU Stage II standards. Fuel consumption is about 20% less than a conventional 2-stroke without sacrificing power. The Mini Boss has a new anti-vibration system and an efficient pre-cleaner for the air filter extending service times by about one-third. Available with either 30cm or 35cm guide bars and 3/8“ PMC3 saw chain the MS211 is available with optioinal chain-quick-tensioning and “ErgoStart“. 	Hyundai Inverter Range Grows Hyundai Power Products Australia has released a new range of Digital Inverters suitable for camping, caravanning and a wide range of applications where reliable and sustained power inversion is required. Suitable for powering all forms of electronic equipment and TV. There are four models: HY1000Si (900W), HY2000Si (2kW), HY3000Si (2.5kW). and HY3600SEi (3kW). The units weigh as little as 15.5kg. 	Makita Blowers Makita has released two new blowers. The handheld BHX2500 is built around a 24.5cc displacement engine. It has a 520mL tank (0.92pint), delivers 0.73W (0.98hp) and weighs 4.4kg (9.7lbs). Despite the light weight the blower delivers a volume of 10.1m3/m (13.2yd3/min) at a maximum air speed of 264km/h (164mph). The BBX2500 uses Makita’s new low-emission 4-stroke engines which incorporate high-combustion and compact spark plugs for maximum torque and power with minimum emissions and fuel consumption. The 4-stroke BBX7600 is a backpack model weighing 10.2kg (22.5lbs) with a powerful 76cc engine. Ideal for professional users its 1.9L (4 pint) tank provides 80 minutes of continuous operation while the dust guard and large capacity air filter maximise time between routine services.
