Aussie Fire Captain Plus /font>
The new Aussie Fire Captain Plus had been developed from the successful Aussie Fire Chief. The Fire Captain now comes with larger Honda 6.5hp air-cooled industrial engine, and heavy duty welded steel full anti roll frame.
The new Fire Captain Plus (Model QP205SL/GX200FF) is part of the Fire Chief Plus range. It features a massive flow of 510L/min (112gal/min) but also offers fire fighters heads as high as 75m (over 100psi)!
The unit primes fast from as deep as 7.6m (25’). That means it has the capability to draw its own water from creeks, streams or wells. The big-bellied body assists in fast self-priming, and provides the pump with the ability to produce more water at higher pressure!
It achieves its high performance through a big 17.8cm (7”) impeller. Other Aussie Fire Captain features include a replaceable front suction port (2” inlet), that provides more volume of liquid through the pump, and makes check valve service easy. A fire pump 3-way outlet is standard, enabling the unit to run two 1” hoses at once, or one single 1˝” hose to “drown” fires.

Allpower has recently launched the “Country Clipper” range of Zero Turn ride-ons mowers. Country Clipper ZTs are one of the biggest selling units in America. All five units use a patented “joy-stick” control or more conventional “twin-level” steering.
The five models are: JAZee One, JAZee, JAZee PRO, Charger and The Boss. Between them there is a model for applications from 1/4acre up. All incorporate a “Quick Release” stand-up deck system with built-in jack, for easy servicing and maintenance. The JAZee One is the only consumer ZT presently with this feature, common on commercial units.
The JAZees have an operating speed of 12km/h and foot-assisted deck heights between 2.5cm- 11.4cm (1” & 4-1/2”). The Charger is even faster at 16km/h. The Boss features a 28hp Kohler Command EFI engine. Its articulating front axle pivots on heavy-duty roller bearings along with a fully-floating deck and has large anti-scalp rollers. Combined these virtually eliminate scalping and provide a quality finish.

Talon TPD49 Post-Hole Digger /font>
Traditionally a post-hole digger is something that you only buy if you’re a fencing contractor of builder needing to use one regularly for digging post- or stump-holes. Otherwise most users (commercial or domestic) simply hired a unit as and when needed.
This may change with the release of the Talon TPD49. Powered by a 49cc two-stroke engine the unit comes with a standard 20cm (8”) auger bit. The TPD49 has pro features such as a heavy-duty clutch, diaphragm carby and full pro-style anti-vibration.

Honda TRX420 f/font>
Honda’s new TRX420FA and FPA four wheelers offer a power steering option that gives riders the confidence and comfort to tackle any job. With a powerful liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 420cc longitudinally mounted engine, all new Dual Clutch and five-speed automatic transmission, the TRX420FA/FPA workhouse is a versatile ATV. Both bikes offer independent front and rear suspension for better ride quality and handling due to lower unsprung weight and the ability of each wheel to address the road undisturbed by activities of the other wheel on the vehicle.
Honda’s selectable 4WD/2WD TraxLok and rugged torque-sensitive front differential system further transfers power to the wheel with the most traction, giving the confidence to pull through almost anything. With front and rear disc brakes as well as quiet operation and low emissions, the new TRX420s are exceptionally operator-friendly.
The snorkel-like air intake system is designed to resist water when things get really adventurous, and both bikes feature keyed ignition for added security. Honda has also made improvements in rider comfort with these quads now offering a thick padded seat, as well as specially designed floorboards that help to keep mud and debris away.

Bobcat 418 Micro-Excavator /font>
Bobcat has launched the 418 micro-excavator. It is a zero tail-swing unit with a maximum digging depth of 1.82m (6’) and a machine weight of 1176kg (1.3tons).
The digger’s retractable undercarriage takes the width of the machine down to only 71cm (28”), allowing easy access through a standard pedestrian doorway for work inside buildings or entry into back yards and gardens through narrow gates. Passage through low headroom openings is aided by the integrated foldable TOPS.
Thanks to a standard second speed range, the 418 is able to move quickly around job sites. The sliding dozer blade extensions on the 418 makes it easy to reduce the blade width quickly in order to pass through narrow openings.
Once the excavator is positioned and ready for work, the undercarriage on the 418 can be expanded 1.1m (43”), for stability in all working conditions.
Bobcat Australia has more information at: 30 Salisbury Road (PO Box 50) Hornsby 2077; 1800 643 853 (02) 9477 8551 F: (02) 9476 2712 W: www.bobcat.com.au.
