Kubota T80 Ride-on with Infinity /font>
Kubota’s new T80 series features the revolutionary new 3-in-1 Deck. The new deck offers users the option of side-discharge, mulching or catching without recourse to any tools or blade changes. The counter-rotating blades create a distinctive “figure eight” grass flow pattern, giving the new decks their “Infinity” name. T80 series’ flexibility and the ease of converting between operating modes translates to significant time saving.
The three T80 models are: T1880 (18hp single cylinder), T2080 (20hp V-twin) & T2380 (23hp V-twin) and feature Kubota’s new improved hydrostatic transmission. HST allows easy and precise, single pedal forward and reverse. A one-step parking brake and Kubota “Reverse Awareness System” are standard on all models. T2080 and T2380 come with cruise control.

Gianni Ferrari Drum Collector Filter System /font>
Airborne dust, grass and leaves are particular problems with collection mowing equipment. Gianni Ferrari has released an exclusive, patented filtration system for its Turbo 1, 1W, 2 & 4 models with 800L, 900L and 1100L catchers. The hydraulic system drives two large rotating bushes that remove particles from the exhaust air minimising debris ejected from the collector.
The filtration system self-cleaning when dumping clippings. Operators also should use either compressed air or high-pressure water cleaners at the end of each day.
The debris filter retro-fits any “new design” Gianni Ferrari 800L, 900L or1100L collector.

Bynorm Wholegoods has released the new Ariens Zoom 1634. Zoom takes ZTR manoeuvrability and scales it down into a compact, lightweight package designed primarily for domestic users. The Zoom 1634 has a 12.3kW (16.5hp) B&S Intek engine that gives operating speeds up to 10km/h - 6mph (5km/h -3mph reverse). The 86cm (34”) pressed-steel, 12-gauge, two-spindle deck, Zoom 1634 has cut heights between 3.5-11.5cm (1.5-4.5”). Hustler Fairway Mower /font>
Hustler importer Hewlett Equipment released the manufacturer’s new fairway mower at a recent conference. The compact Hustler 7700 is a product of Hustler’s partnership with Japanese manufacturer Shibaura. Powered by Shibaura’s proven, durable N843L 26.9kW (36hp) 4-cycle diesel engine (US EPA Tier III compliant), the unit has five independently floating reel units. All are provided with hydraulic switch valves, enabling operators to lap the reel blade individually. The two mid-mounted rear reels rotate to make simple adjustments and cut height changes. The center cutting units can be easily rotated for adjustment of roller bracket position, the grass discharge cover and cut height The Reels also can be simply adjusted for varying conditions allowing tough cutting over undulating terrain or a manicured finishes when required.
Hustler has also developed the Hustler 50 & 55 Walk-Behind Greens Mowers designed to deliver precision cutting to tournament standards. Hewlett Equipment distributed Hustler equipment from: 823 Boundary Road, Coopers Plains 4108; 1300 782 577 (07) 3277 3233 F: (07) 3875 1160 W: www.hewlettequipment.com.au.

Ambrogio Robotic Mowers /font>
New NSW-based importer AutoEarth has been appointed Australian Distributor for the Ambrogio Italian robotic mower range. The Ambrogio robotic mower range is the largest in the world and if manufactured by Zucchetti of Italy.
The mowers have Lithium Ion batteries making them almost silent, and allowing them to operate at any time of the day or night.
The newest model is the L50. Unlike most robotic mowers this model does not require a perimeter wire system but works through six grass sensors under the mower which keep it on the lawn. The L50 was given “Best Innovation Award” at the International GAFA exhibition in Cologne, Germany (arguably the largest OPE expo in the world).
Robotic mowers have many advantages, not the leat of which being they operate automatically, saving many hours of mowing. With units designed for grass areas between 400m2 and 5000m2 there is a mower to suit almost all domestic applications. Because they constantly trim the grass, rather than remove large leaf lengths on, say, a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis, a lawn is kept looking good. The “shaved” clippings also serve as valuable nutritional mulch.
Ambrogio Robotic mowers are available from: AutoEarth, 0448 266 737 E: autoearth@gmail.com.
