Grasshopper 620T ZT /font>
Grasshopper’s new 620T front mount ZT unit features the company’s award-winning in-line transmission system. Co-designed by Grasshopper and Parker-Hannifin, the T2 System utilises fewer moving parts and features high-torque Parker wheel motors, a replaceable, high-efficiency 7-micron absolute filter and in-line CoolFan™ hydro-cooling system for reliability and long service life. The tandem pumps in reservoir in-line transmission provide efficient power transfer to the deck without belts and/or pulleys.
Units using T2 drives are therefore faster (620T: 13.7km/h-8.5mph forward & 8.9km/h-5.5mph reverse) and run cooler. Powered by 20 hp V-Twin Kohler Command, the 620T can accommodate 1.13 ha/h (2.8acres/h). The 620T comes with the choice of a 48” or 52” Dura-Max® deep, side-discharge deck.

Kubota GR2110 Glide-Steer /font>
Kubota’s new GR2110 is a 21hp with all wheel drive for maximum traction. AWD is advantageous for mowing when slippery or on undulating ground, it also significantly reduces turning radius without scuffing. Kubota’s AWD features a wet mechanical clutch on each rear wheels’ drive axle so that when the front wheels reach a pre-set angle they disengage drive to the appropriate inner rear wheel when turning. Unlike conventional 4WD units, the GR2110 does not have to “fight” against the forward drive of the inner rear wheel.
GR2110 is powered by a liquid-cooled 3-cylinder diesel engine through a heavy-duty hydrostatic transmission. It has a 1.2m (48”) triple blade deck with durable wet PTO clutch ensuring deck power is transmitted smoothly.
Kubota Tractor Australia is located at: 100 Keilor Park Drive (Locked Bag 36) Tullamarine 3043; (03) 9279 2000 F: (03) 9279 2010 W: www.kubota.com.au.

Polaris Ranger Crew – 6 Seater UTV /font>
Polaris has introduced a new six-seater to the Ranger UTV line. The Range Crew is powered by a 30kW (40hp) V-Twin EFI engine and has a top speed of 71km/h (44mph) with a 907kg towing capacity and 454kg capacity rear dump box. The UTV has on-demand all-wheel drive that locks the front wheels when it senses more traction is required. Meanwhile its electronic locking rear differential ensures minimal
damage to the ground surface (ie turf-friendly).
The Ranger Crew has new dual piston, caliper front and rear disc brakes (30% better braking) and is compatible with the Polaris “Lock & Ride” cargo system. Passengers will enjoy the comfort of independent rear suspension with 22.9cm travel and a large 27.9cm ground clearance. Passengers travel in two rows of three-across seating.
Polaris Australia is distributing Ranger UTVs from: 1826 Sturt Street, Alfredton 3350; (03) 5330 4710 F: (03) 5337 6211 W: www.polarisindistries.com

Bobcat Model 425 ZTS Compact Excavator /font>
Bobcat Australia has launched a new Zero Tail Swing (ZTS) mini-excavator with operating weight of 2.6 tonne, offering an ideal balance of size, weight and performance. The new machine blends speed and digging force with highly responsive hydraulic controls to provide excellent productivity.
The Bobcat 425 ZTS mini-excavator has an operating weight of 2 650kg (with cab) and is designed for easy transportation. The 425 is a high-output machine, combining a maximum digging depth of 2.5m with industry-leading breakout forces of 2 250decaNewtons (2.29tonnes) and 1 460daN (1488tonnes) over-the-bucket cylinder and dipperstick cylinder, respectively. The 425 has a width of 1.54m, height of 2.391m and an overall length in the travel position of 4.351m.
Like the other Bobcat ZTS mini-diggers, the 425 avoids the compromises of increased cab height and cramped operator space found in other designs. Instead, the spacious cab on these machines is of a standard size, providing increased operator comfort and ensuring easy entry and exit from the cab.
The 425 uses maintenance-free and low-upkeep components, complemented with easy service access. All routine maintenance points are reachable from one side, thanks to the transverse engine, while the large swing open rear tailgate provides ready access to engine check and fill points, filters and the battery.
Bobcat Australia is located at: 30 Salisbury Road (PO Box 50) Hornsby 2077; (02) 9477 8551 F: (02) 9476 2712 E: bobaust@bobcat.com.au.

Kubota New Mini Series Diesels /font>
Kubota’s 17.5kW (23.5hp) D902 NSM diesel has been designed to surpass the next tier (Tier IV) of the world’s most stringent EPA emission levels without compromising output. In fact, a number of improvements have been incorporated into the new engine. These include a 16% increase in power density, reduced weight (only 72kg), enhanced reliability, smoother operation and a more compact size (47x42x55cm). Even the noise has been substantially reduced by the addition of a floating valve cover and coated pistons.
Based on the successful D722 the bore and stroke have been increased to give the three-cylinder D902 a 898cm3 (54.8 cu-in) displacement with a maximum speed of 3200rpm from the same footprint. The unit has an improved Kubota E-TVCS (Three-Vortex Combustion System). However an extended shallow oil pan means the unit is lower than the D722.
Other NSM range diesels are rated: 9.9kW (13.3hp), 10.8kW (14.5hp), 12.5kW (16.8hp), 14.9kW (20hp) and 18.5kW (24.8hp). Kubota Australia distributes its engine range from: 100 Keilor Park Drive (Locked Bag 36) Tullamarine 3043; (03) 9279-2000 F: (03) 9279 2010 W: www.kubota.com.au.
