Yamabiko Execs Visit Allpower
| During January two Yamabiko executives visited Allpower Industries for a strategic planning meeting covering Australia and New Zealand. Yamabiko Corporation is the company that was formed by the merger of Echo manufacturer Kioritz Corporation and Shindaiwa Corporation. Allpower is the long-time importer of Echo OPE and took over distribution of Shindaiwa OPE lines in this region last year.
“Yamabiko has undergone a huge change in order to set up our business to be more efficient and capable of meeting the needs of our Distributors and Dealers world-wide,” said Yamabiko GM International Sales Division Scott Hasegawa.
Hosting the meeting, Allpower CEO Ken Collier was pleased to be advised of Yamabiko’s total commitment to both Echo and Shindaiwa brands going forward.
“The independence of both Echo and Shindaiwa brands will perfectly fit the Allpower business direction and Servicing Dealer Network,” he said.
“With the changes we have had some challenges to overcome. We thought it best to visit Australia and meet with Allpower to make our plans for the next few years in this region together,” said Yamabiko Deputy Manager Marketing Section Jack Kano.

The results of the meeting have been very positive feels Allpower GM Sales John Ramsey. “The new products and engineering developments are very appropriate for the Australian and New Zealand markets,” he observed.
Allpower Industries moves from Box Hill to new premises in Keysborough in April.
