Honda PE Management Reshuffle
Honda Power Equipment has undergone a management reshuffle following the appointment of OPE Industry stalwart, Bob Donaldson to the new role of Business Development Manager. After 10 successful years as Honda PE Manager, Bob Donaldson is pursuing several new challenges and evaluating a number of new ventures for the Japanese giant, including photovoltaic solar modules and mobility aids.
“Australia is entering an era of environmental awareness,” Bob says.
“Honda is keen to continue at the forefront of this through the production of alternative energy.”
In future, this will extend throughout Honda's entire petrol powered product range starting with electric and hydrogen vehicles powered by Honda photovoltaic solar modules.
"We are on the verge of an environmental revolution, with alternative energy coming to the fore," Bob Donaldson says.
Ray Briffa is taking over as PE Manager. Ray has been with Honda for two decades most recently as OEM Division Manager.
Ray says he is eager to develop stronger relationships with Honda Dealers.

"I'm dedicated to ensuring I add value across our Dealer Network,” he says.
"Meeting Dealers and seeing what they do will ensure positive flow-on effects to all areas of our business."
Ray indicated he would like to see Honda PE’s range expand to add further value to Honda Dealerships.
Peter Singleton now fills the role of OEM Manager. Peter has been with Honda for ten years and was the first Australia employee to work at the company's Japanese headquarters. “My three years there gave me valuable insight into our organisation's global operations, most notably in Asia and Oceania,” he says.
"I'm excited to be back home so that I can help Australian OEMs seize the many opportunities that this experience has helped me to see.” |
